| This glorious day and incredible scene came at the end of a
joyous week in Katmai National Park, where we filmed dozens of
grizzly bears (and got the reference material for "Illumination",
the painting of mine that won the 2002 Arts for the Parks Grand
Prize). Seeing the Beaver on floats arrive to start our journey back
to civilization was poignant - but beautiful.
