"Bare Naked Lady"

"Bare Naked Lady" was a Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Featured
Artist selection (one of only 5) in 2003. RMEF made a limited print
run - just enough for their fundraising banquets - in various cities
around the U.S. I kept the 50 Artist Proofs - signed by me, and
numbered to 50. I've sold many already. This was one of RMEF's most
popular images, and it is NOT available anywhere else. (While I
was at the RMEF headquarters signing the prints, their art director
said "I think this is the first time we've done a print with the
word 'naked' in the title.")
The print is beautifully done on heavyweight paper, and the image
is based a gorgeous bear we watched for an afternoon and again the
following morning in the wilds of Katmai National Park (Alaska). She
was very comfortable with our presence - spent hours fishing the
salmon stream right in front of us. A different painting of this
bear won the Arts for the Parks Grand Prize in 2002..
